 ECHO (Energetic Citizens Helping Others) is a diverse coalition of religious congregations, community members, organizations, volunteers and local government, all working together to nurture, maintain and motivate senior citizens to actively engage in life through quality activities and programs. 

  ECHO provides a secure, supportive atmosphere that enables seniors to remain active independent members of their community.

What We Do

• ECHO recruits, trains and supports the seniors who volunteer to make ECHO possible.
• ECHO offers a wide range of leisure activities, educational courses, social and recreational programs, support groups, outings, travel and health presentations.
• ECHO publishes a monthly newsletter, ECHO News, to keep our subscribers informed of current programs, special events and trips.
• ECHO helps seniors find solutions to problems by providing information and assistance, either directly or by referral to an appropriate agency.

The Ladies of the Purple Hat Society enjoy a day out for lunch.  The Purple Hat Society meets on the 3rd Friday of each month for food, fun and fellowship.

 Presentations on important benefits, health and quality of life issues keep seniors informed, engaged and involved.
